Clear textured glass is called "architectural glass" because it is frequently used as sheet glass in windows, doors, cabinets and other architectural openings.

Many people have discovered our textured clears for their kitchen and bath cabinets.  Our glass is also used in bookcases, entertainment units, desks and other built-ins.  Think of all ways you can use beautiful, unique textured glass in your home or office.

The thickness of architectural glass is commonly 3mm (about 1/8"), 5mm (about 3/16") and 6mm (about 1/4").  It is available in sizes ranging from 32" X 32" and 24" X 48" to large sheets 52" X 85" and even larger.

Though the largest sheets of 3mm glass are 32"X 32" and 24" X 48"-72".  Remember, 3mm glass cannot be tempered.

It is strongly recommended that 3mm glass not be used in pieces larger than 18" X 18" because it is so easily broken and is frighteningly a liability.

Some architectural glass is 5mm thick and comes in sheets ranging from 40" X 60" to 59" X 86", depending on manufacturer.  Some 5mm glass can be tempered.
