Artist William Villalongo
worked with Albert to adapt and fabricate his design for stained glass,
commissioned by Ballroom Marfa, Marfa, TX. The
subject blends Western culture and science fiction in a panorama of
African-American cowboy, space ship and alien in a desert landscape.

We designed and fabricated
this 12-foot dome skylight for a Manhattan townhouse. The glass is
transparent seedy amber, green, blue and pink.

This stairway stained glass
light box was created for a Brooklyn townhouse. The design is based
on a tiffany panel we restored. The original Tiffany hangs in our
studio and inspires many clients to ask if we can duplicate it.

An
Ascension window for Union Gospel Church, Newark, NJ. The window
is 25 feet tall. The window faces south and receives direct
sunlight during Sunday services. Dense glass was selected to
control the light, yet glow with vibrant colors while not overpowering
the painted face.
Designed by Al Husted, painted by Edward Heins,
fabricated by Armando Tlaseca, Jose Silva, Fidel Silva and Ted
Kaufman.

Inspired by a Tiffany panel. Stained glass is 72"
tall. Background glass fades from yellow to red. Intricate
border of granite texture Uroboros glass picks up light.

take on Art Nouveau tulip design for interior transom between rooms.

Design for 19 new leaded glass windows for an apartment house lobby on
Park Avenue. The height of the panels is 65". The glass
is a seedy clear, lightly etched to obscure the view. The lead
is 3/16" round face.
The architect is Tsao Mckown.

A
whimsical design with bevels and jewels gives a unique look to a home
or business. The wavy lines make the window less formal and add
to the whimsy of the piece. 30" by 30". Residence, Westchester,
NY.

European-style
window of fully painted stained glass, fabricated by Albert Stained
Glass Studio in December 2002 and installed at Immaculate Heart of Mary
Church (RC) of Elizabeth, NJ.
It depicts St. Francis of Assisi removing Christ from the cross,
after a painting by Bartolome Esteban Murillo.
Pastor Fr. Francisco Dols conceived the project.
Edward Heins painted the window.
Roberto Sandoval was project director. The window is
mounted in a neon light box.

Above the St. Luke windows are three round transoms. In the
center is a winged ox, the symbol of St. Luke, celebrating the life of
the donor's wife, a nurse.

George's Episcopal Church, Brooklyn, Father Glenworth Miles Pastor.
The windows
are next to seven Tiffany
Studio windows. We used numerous Tiffany techniques
so the windows would fit the overall decorative scheme of the
church.
The figure is St.
Paul. Edward Heins is the painter and designer.

St. Paul's face and hands are painted with vitreous
paints, fired onto the glass to be permanent.
The grapes are fused and have rounded surfaces. The sky glass is made by Kokomo Opalescent
Glass Company, Kokomo, Indiana. The company made glass
for Tiffany and LaFarge more than 100 years ago.

Every
boy needs a dragon of his very own. Here, in Superman colors is
Sam's dragon. You may have a dragon or puppy dog tails or
whatever boy's subject you desire, made into stained glass for
confirmations, bar mitzvahs, graduations, birthdays -- whatever
celebration you like. An heirloom to treasure a lifetime!

Personalized leaded windows are a great gift. Here we used
Amanda's favorite colors, which included pink. Pink is the most
expensive glass made. To get pink, gold is added to clear glass.

We do not have to
compromise beauty to meet a modest budget.
For Humbleway Church in Queens we did windows of Jesus and
David as shepherds. with simple quarry background and more expensive
glass in the central figures.
The amber background glass gives the sanctuary a warm glow.
The figures seem to float in the window. They are of Uroboros
glass.

Life-size Our Lady of Guadeloupe window
with abundance of roses in
keeping with the Mexican legend. 30" by
70". It was commissioned by a religious retreat in Connecticut. It is lead came except for the
roses which are copper foiled. The face and hands are
traditional fired stained glass paints. The aura is silver
stained. Stars on the blue shawl are gold leaf. Rita
Cosentino fabricated the roses and was the painter and designer.
Armando Tlaseca fabricated the window.

Dome skylight, 21' diameter. Kingsport, NY home. The
rise of the dome is 30". The skylight is 30' above foyer
floor and is lit by neon.
The iron frame holds 20 leaded glass segments. Cast
bronze rosettes are attached to the frame.

Stained
glass signs are commissioned by businesses. Here are just two of the many
different styles we have done. Pierrot Restaurant in Manhattan;
Syrena's Bakery in Brooklyn.

Each window contains a round, painted medallion of a
saint. Here are three of the painted saints.
The windows are 28" by 70". Edward Hines was

Albert
Stained Glass has two in-house painters and also uses a freelance
artist to do traditional painting on glass. We fire the paints
for permanency. Each painter is capable of many different
styles, from medieval to modern.

of eight small windows (about 16" by 32") for Jewish prayer
room at Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn. The windows were a gift
from members of the hospital staff.

Sidelight in Victorian
style for a modern suburban home. Clear ripple glass as the background
prevents visibility from the street. We used
gold-pink, amber and opal jewels. 18" by
